You are giving up too soon
“Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.”- John 11:39
Though Martha loved her brother, Lazarus, when Jesus asked that the stone be removed, she gave up on him being alive or coming back to live because the situation no longer seemed redeemable. Jesus, on the other hand, made her know in V.40 that it doesn’t matter what the situation or circumstance is. If you will believe, the glory of the Lord will
appear.
So that predicament you are in that seems to have resulted in disappointment is not too late for God, the burden you have carried for years can still be removed now, and that hopeless situation in your life could still be addressed. All you need to do is believe.
“If you will believe, you will see the glory of the lord,” this response from Jesus to Martha is still very potent today just like when Jesus told Martha and that is what Jesus is saying to you today. Just believe and that situation will be addressed.
Someone is saying Pastor you don’t understand. The decision has been taken already, and there is nothing that can be done to undo it.
Beloved, Jer 32:27 says “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: Is there anything too hard for me?” There are so many examples of people who never gave up in the bible and got what they were asking.
The woman with the issue of blood had suffered so many things from many physicians, her finance was in a mess because of this, and she could see that her life was ebbing away, despite all these, she still said if only I could but touch the helm of his garment, I will be made whole. You know what, she got her answer. What if she had given up because she had seen so many doctors and they couldn’t help her?
There is a lovely song I like listening to “It is well with me …Yes lord I believe, yes lord I believe, it is well with me”. It is a confession that should not leave our hearts every day, especially when we are going through a tough patch.

Wow, this is so true. At times we just give up too early. It is never over until God says, it’s over.
