Whosoever Trusts in Him Will Never Be Put to Shame
“As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” – Romans 9:33 KJV
Trusting in God is one of the greatest decisions a believer can make. To trust in Him is to rely completely on His character, promises, and faithfulness. The scripture above assures us that those who place their trust in Christ will never be put to shame. This is a promise rooted in God’s unchanging nature.
Shame often stems from disappointment or failure, but God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). What He has said, He will do. When you trust Him, you align yourself with His perfect plan and timing, and He ensures that your trust is rewarded. The psalmist declared, “They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded” (Psalm 22:5).
To trust in God is to acknowledge Him as your source, protector, and guide. It is not just a passive belief but an active confidence in His ability to fulfill His promises. Abraham is a perfect example of this. Despite the impossibility of his situation, he trusted God’s promise to make him the father of many nations. His faith was counted as righteousness, and God fulfilled His Word (Romans 4:20-22).
Trusting God does not mean you won’t face challenges. In fact, your trust will often be tested. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trusted God even when faced with the fiery furnace. Their declaration, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us,” was a bold statement of trust (Daniel 3:17). God honored their faith and delivered them, ensuring they were not put to shame.
The world may place its trust in wealth, connections, or intellect, but these things are fleeting and unreliable. The one who trusts in the Lord, however, stands on a solid foundation. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” This peace is evidence of a life free from shame and filled with God’s assurance.
Today, no matter what you are facing, hold on to this promise: those who trust in Him will never be put to shame. Trust Him with your family, your health, your career, and your future. He is faithful and will never fail you.

1. To trust God means to really on his character, promise and faithfulness
2. To trust God means to God as your source, provider and guide
3. That you trust God doesn’t mean there won’t be problems but that you will enjoy peace and receive direction during this period
4. Trust is not measured when everything is fine but when there is turmoil.

Instead if turning to God and trusting in Him, we turn to friends or chase more shifts to help us. If we take all our issues to Gid first, we will longer be anxious and God will make our situation right in His time.
I pray that i put my trust in God, no matter the situation or challenge ahead. I will not be distracted by the world, in Jesus name
