Way Maker
Text: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”Isaiah 43:19 NIV
The song God will make a way by Don Moen was an excerpt from the text of today. In his story about how his wife’s sister and family were involved in an accident and lost a child, God gave Don a song for the family though he wasn’t able to sing it during the wake keep, he waxed a tape and gave same to Susan who confessed that God has seen her through a difficult time by believing to look unto God even in her darkest time.
The text says God will make a new thing. What is your expectation, what is that matter that seems impossible, what is that situation that seems precarious in your life, health, family or finance. God said he has done it before for the Israelites; made way in the Red Sea, where the enemy thought an end had come to the journey of their deliverance but unknowing to the enemy, God wasn’t just delivering the Israelites from the slavery of Egypt but also putting an end to the nightmare forever.
Look on the bright side, there is no situation that can catch our God unaware that is why he said I am making way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. There might be times of wilderness and wasteland but be rest assured those are covered also.
Confession:

I WILL TRUST IN GOD’S ABILITY TO DO A NEW THING EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS AS IF THERE IS NO WAY. I SEE GOD MAKING WAYS FOR ME. I HAVE UNHINDERED OPPORTUNITIES IN JESUS PRECIOUS NAME.

ABBA IS ALWAYS WITH ME.
EVEN BEFORE I ASKED FOR IT ABBA HAS DONE IT. HE IS MY GOD IN THE GOOD TIMES AND IN THE BAD TIMES. ONE THING I LEARNED FROM THIS DEVOTIONAL IS THAT WHEN YOU REMEMBER THE PAST MIGHTY WORKS GOD HAS DONE; IN TIMES OF TROUBLE THERE WILL BE A PEACE THAT SURPASS ALL UNDERSTANDING IN YOUR HEART.
THE ENEMY DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THAT’S WHY HE IS CAUGHT UNAWARE.

Our God knows our needs and it’s vital for us to key into His plans and purposes for our lives. There is no emergency God cannot handle, so there is no need to limit Him in our lives.
