Embraced by Divine Favour!
Psalm 5:12 – “For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour, you will surround him as with a shield.”
In the quiet moments of reflection, consider the profound grace that envelopes your life. The favour of God, a gentle current weaving through the fabric of your existence, is a testament to His boundless love. Just as the sun rises faithfully each morning, so does the favour of the Almighty dawn upon your journey.
Scripture reminds us in Psalm 5:12, “For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour, you will surround him as with a shield.” Imagine this shield, not forged of earthly materials, but woven with threads of divine favour – a shield that deflects adversity and invites blessings. In the midst of life events that occur, recognise the threads of favour that have been intricately woven.

Proverbs 3:3-4 guides us: “Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favour and good success in the sight of God and man.”

It is not about deserving, but about surrendering to the One who showers His favour on those who seek Him diligently.

God’s favour is new everyday like the shining of the sun. It is not a license to complacency but invitation to doing and enjoying his will because the Bible passage we read said this favour that surrounds as a shield is enjoyed by the righteous of the lord.
So it is important to take time to reflect on those benevolences we have enjoyed and thank the source because it is not by our efforts that we have gotten it but in response of his love. Hallelujah!
