Affliction shall not rise again
”What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.“

The devil continually afflicts people with sicknesses, diseases, and all manners of problems. And manny people suffer these pains and afflictions over and over again, without finding a permanent solution. But what differentiates you (a believer) and the unbelievers is your advantage in Christ. Through Christ, we have the power to stop the devil’s oppressions and prevent affliction from happening again.
When the Israelites gained freedom from Egypt, Pharaoh remained determined to oppress them. He wanted to fulfil his desire and continue his wickedness by chasing them unto the red sea. However, God told the Israelites that the Egyptians they saw, they would see them no more. And His word was confirmed. God utterly destroyed the Egyptians and their powers by drowning their chariots and armies in the Red Sea.
The scriptures said of Job that God blessed his latter end than the beginning (Job 42:12). This was despite that he has been written off by everyone. The devil struck Job and took away all he had. But God restored and multiplied Job greatly.
Just like the examples we have considered above, you must understand that it is God’s will for you to prosper and be in good health. He has said it in his word that affliction shall not rise again. He made this possible by gaining victory on this cross, and he has passed down that authority to you as his child. This is why the Bible reveals this possibility of safety by saying that the name of the Lord is a strong tower, and the righteous run into it and are saved (Prov. 18:10).
Have you suffered defeat before, and that has made you terrified of the next phase? I prophesy to you that the last defeat you suffered shall be the last in Jesus’ name! 2023 is gone. Forget its pains and struggles. This is a new season, and the Lord is making the crooked paths straight for you (Isaiah 43:18-19).
The Lord is doing a new thing, and it shall be evident for all to see. For those who have mocked you, will see God’s doings in your life and open their mouth wide.
That affliction is gone, no more coming back, and God is also restoring you.

I decree by the word of the Lord, I make an utter end to the imaginative power of the wicked concerning me and my family. I wipe out their thinking ability.
I decree an end to every affliction in my life. What people before me suffered, I will not suffer. What I have suffered, my children and generations to come will not suffer in the name of Jesus.
God restore and multiplied me and my family greatly.

The devil doesn’t only want to afflict a man but wants to keep him in the affliction perpetually.
God on the other side just doesn’t want a man to be saved or delivered momentarily but eternally.
God has given us the name of Jesus which we can run to and remain protected from all the arrows of the devil.
God is able to keep you from whatever the devil throws at you but all you need to do is believe in him and declare your victory all the time even in the face of the challenges and you will see that the afflictions you have suffered before are gone forever in Jesus name.
